If this applys also to video bloggers do you have a link to an official site that specifically mentions video blogging is included in this new law? All of the sites I see only seem to mention written bloggers.

Yea, piracy seems to always find a way around everything and it is the honest people that pay the price for these type of measures.

SOPA is going to destroy the internet world.Although this law can not stop the piracy completely.I still do not know that the SOPA has been passed or still to be passed. But i am really hoping that this law must not pass.

I really hope this bill doesn't get passed as I think it will do more harm than good, if any. Piracy is a problem that has not yet been tackled and most of the time, the measures for the same negatively impact legit customers. A good example of that is the DRM protection that didn't work on a lot of optical drives.

It's good to see the outcry against GoDaddy for supporting SOPA and also the pullout of support from companies like Sony lately.

I think it's very hard to predict. It took years to get to the broadband rates we have today. The cable and telco's spent a lot of money upgrading their infrastructure to do that. But we were all willing to pay for the the service to get off of dial-up.
Will they be willing to invest another large sum to deliver gigibit to the home? What is their incentive? How many people will pay a premium above current broadband fees for something that fast? Certainly some will, but many won't (especially given the current economy). Will enough people be willing to pay a premium to justify the costs?

I am really keen on seeing how the Google fiber network project in KS works out. The residents are very lucky to have been chosen. I think it could be the start of something big.
