Lol, whenever I look at my hotmail, I see that I have over 7,000 unread emails haha. I definitely need to dump out some of my email, that is for sure!

I’ve recently tried to sort out my inbox, and I have to say, it was no easy task. Having to go page after page constantly unchecking the same e-mails that you don’t want to delete is just tiresome. I wish GMail had folders instead of labels. Guess they want to be more different than practical.

Yea, I would really love to have folders in Gmail as it makes sorting out and cleaning your inbox much easier. I’m not sure why it’s still a missing feature.

That’s interesting. I’ve been too chicken to try out Thunderbird as it’s so new. Wasn’t sure about its security mainly. Definitely going to try it out now as I’m not too happy with Outlook.

Clearing out your inbox is definitely one of the most boring tasks possible. Especially if you get a lot of spam mixed with important mails that you have to sort out page after page. I allocate a few hours a week just to tackle this problem as I hate a messy and cluttered inbox. Not to mention standing to accidentally delete important mails by mistake.

I have to agree with you, battery. The lack of folders is what’s turned me off using Gmail as my primary mail service. The labels are just not useful enough.

Gmail does have a folder type structure now where you can move a email to a category instead of keeping it in your inbox.

I think if you can categorize your emails under different labels, it will be much easier to tackle them. All your important mails under 2-3 labels and anything that doesn’t fit can go into junk, this can be tried out.
