New Coffee Tree for Johnny

I got a new coffee tree over the weekend.  I will load a picture when I get a chance.  Am planning on keeping it at my office so I can put reminders and the like on my calendar for when to water it, etc.

I read about coffee tree care a couple years ago when my in-laws got one.  They ended up getting 1 or 2 beans off the tree before it departed.  I think theirs lasted about 9 months – they brought it in for the winter, but I don’t know that it lived to see the next spring.

I am hoping mine will fair better and if it ever produces enough beans to make a cup, I will chronical the process (roasting beans from scratch is involved and smelly). 

I put this under Positive-Motivation because I know you are all thinking about the smell of freshly ground coffee & freshly made coffee!  What could be more uplifting than that on a Monday morning?  I ground some Folgers Vanilla-Biscotti beans this morning (and all weekend) – can’t say enough about it.  The flavor and aroma are awesome!  I recommend to anyone.  They also sell an already ground version if you don’t have a grinder.

Any pointers for me on my tree?  What is your favorite type of coffee?
