Click Into Action – Leverage

The recent post on Click Into Action has to do about leveraging your skills and assets.  Basically by creating some type of product that you can use over and over again and by utilizing the marketplaces of sites that allow you to upload your products you create a leverage situation where your creation can be purchased over and over again with little extra effort on your part.

This can create fairly good cash flow once you have several of these types of things working for you.  Imagine having 10 products up on these sites and selling 1 a month for a net income of $5.  Now picture having 1,000 items up there (or fewer if they are more involved and you can charge a premium for them).  Using the same # of sales per 10 items (1 in 10), you are now up to 10 sales for the month.  Increase this to 10,000 products and you are now up to 1,000 sales a month – @ $5 each that is now $5,000 a month just from products you had built once and are still receiving income off.

Of course it will take a lot of time to build and load 10,000 products, but just like any other business, with consistent activity you can reach that point.

What are your thought on this?  Is this a good plan?

I can tell you that I have somewhere near 700 products on my Ha Ha Shirt Shop site and I get about 5 sales a month.
